Islamabad: Bahria University Islamabad Campus held its 19th Convocation here on Saturday at Jinnah Convention Centre Islamabad.
Azad State of Jammu & Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan was the chief guest. Bahria University rector conferred the degrees upon graduating students of PhD, MPhil, Masters and Undergraduate programmes. In total 839 degrees were conferred to the Undergraduate and Graduate students of Management Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences, Computer Sciences, Law, Earth & Environmental Sciences, Electrical Engineering and Software Engineering Departments.
Sardar Masood Khan awarded 23 Gold and 20 Silver medals, degrees and certificates to various students who achieved top positions in their respective programs. Before award of medals, degrees to other undergraduate students were awarded DG Campus Bahria University and to MPhil, MS and MBA students by Rector Bahria University.
While addressing on the occasion, Sardar Masood Khan, congratulated the graduating students on their splendid success and lauded Bahria University Islamabad Campus for providing exceptional knowledge skills to the graduates in their respective disciplines enabling them to lead a professionally rewarding life. Earlier in his welcome address Bahria University Rector Vice Admiral (r) Muhammad Shafiq expressed his gratitude to Sardar Masood Khan for his presence in the convocation.
