ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Thursday said the government is committed to provide broadband connectivity all over the country.
Addressing at a ceremony, organised by Ministry of Information Technology in Islamabad to honour girls from across the country who have learned computer coding under the Digi Skills programme, the prime minister expressed the confidence that students associated with programme would get gainful employment especially for girls.
He expressed the desire for expansion of the programme to create employment opportunities in far-flung areas. He hoped that the federal programme would serve as a model for provinces and they would come up with their own programmes.
