Pak, Afghan officials meet at Torkham border

LANDIKOTAL: The Pakistani and Afghan border officials met at Torkham Thursday and discussed various issues including improving facilities to the Afghan nationals visiting Pakistan. Talking to The News, Assistant Political Agent Niaz Muhammad confirmed the meeting. He said both sides extended cooperation and coordination to each other. The assistant political agent said Pakistani officials assured the Afghan counterparts of facilitating Afghan citizens at the Torkham border. “The Afghan officials, led by Colonel Muhammad Sadiq, praised Pakistani counterparts for providing the best possible facilities at Torkham border to the Afghans travelling to Pakistan,” he added.
