NAB chairman directs arrest of POs, absconders
ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (R) Javed Iqbal Tuesday directed to arrest proclaimed offenders (POs) and absconders and warned strict action against the officers on showing any laxity.
The directives come in a meeting which he chaired here Tuesday at the NAB headquarters reviewed the performance of regional bureaus especially six month performance of prosecution and operation divisions of NAB since taking charge by the chairman.
While expressing satisfaction over the six months performance of NAB he said that the marked improvement has been noted in the performance of NAB.
“Accountability for All policy is being actively pursued by NAB and it is interested only vigorously pursuing the policy of work, work and work only,“ he said during meeting. The meeting was informed that most of the orders issued by the chairman have been implemented.
