Village council nazim shot dead in Takht Bhai

TAKHT BHAI: Village Council-1 Nazim Malik Mir Ali Khan was killed and his son sustained injuries when rival group allegedly fired at them in the limits of Lundkhwar Police Station on Tuesday, official sources said.

They said that Lundhwar Union Council-1 village Nazim Malik Mir Ali Khan along with his son Ashfaq Khan was on his way in Ako Dheri village when his rivals allegedly fired at them, leaving them critically injured.

The injured were shifted to the Mardan Medical Complex where Malik Mir Ali succumbed to his injuries. Condition of his son, Ashfaq Khan, was stated to be stable. Motive behind the incident was stated to be an old enmity. After autopsy in the hospital, the body was handed over to the family members for burial.
