ISLAMABAD: Launching yet another broadside at Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan, Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Tuesday said both were two sides of the same coin. Talking to a delegation of party workers from Faisalabad and Sargodha at the Zardari House here, he said though Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan had different faces, their thinking was the same. He said the PPP had asked Nawaz Sharif to get rid of General Zia's contaminations from the Constitution but he did not agree and now he was suffering for not implementing the Charter of Democracy (CoD) and decontaminating the Constitution. He made it clear that the party had shut its doors on those who had deserted it. He said the workers who believed in the philosophy of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto were his strength. “The PPP is a party of laborers, farmers, hardworking masses and students. Only those who feel the pain of the downtrodden and want to eradicate poverty, ignorance and hunger will remain in the party,” he said. He said the PPP always gave jobs to the jobless whenever it came into power.
