KARACHI: Pakistan youth hockey team left for Bangkok in the wee hours on Tuesday to feature in Asian hockey qualifiers for Youth Olympics to be held from April 25-29.Last week, Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) announced a nine-member team for the qualifiers.The hockey event of the Youth Olympics is played on five-a-side format.
The top two teams from the 11 sides competing in Asian qualifiers will qualify for the Youth Olympics scheduled to be held in Buenos Aires from October 6-18.Waqas Ahmed will lead the Green-shirts. Mohibullah will be his deputy.
