Out of forests

A serious effect of deforestation is the loss of habitat for hundreds of species that live in forests. The cutting down of forests causes an increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

This harms the environment and all living things. The authorities concerned should not take this matter lightly. In fact, they should take remedial measures to avert the mindless cutting of trees before it is too late.
