Pak U-16 topple Australia by 7 wickets
ISLAMABAD: Left-arm spinner Harris Khan (5-17) and pacer Zaman Khan (3-33) ran through Australian under-16 line up to give visiting Pakistan team seven wickets victory in the third one-dayer at the Junction Oval Melbourne (Australia) Saturday. Put into bat first Australia were bowled out for 121 in 40 overs. Courtesy to Rizwan Syed (46 not out) and Mubashir Nawaz’s (42 not out) 74 runs fourth wicket unbeaten stand, Pakistan reached home in 27th over. Australia at one point were reeling at 70 for nine when T Sangha (34) and Simpson (16) added 51 runs for the last wicket. Harris who hails from Peshawar kept a tight line and length to trouble all Australian batsmen. Later Rizwan struck eight fours in his 76-ball unbeaten knock while Mubashir smashed six fours during his 26-ball undefeated knock to take Pakistan home. Pakistan under-16 team that lost first two one-dayers now trail the series 2-1.
