Farewell reception held
LAKKI MARWAT: The employees of Education Department held a farewell function in honour of District Education Officer (DEO) Abdul Salam Marwat on his transfer from the district.
Deputy DEO Aqal Badshah, SDEOs Akhtar Zaman and Muhammad Shafiq, ADEOs Nisar Muhammad and Abdul Rehman Rashid, chairman all employees coordination council Saeed Akhtar, heads of schools and clerical staff of district education office attended the function.
Salam, who served as head of education department in the district for over a year, was transferred by provincial government all of a sudden, surprising his well-wishers, teachers of the underdeveloped southern district. His services have been placed on the disposal of provincial directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education Department.
