Apex body satisfied with law, order
PESHAWAR: Appreciating the successful initiatives for border fencing and management, the Apex Committee Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday expressed satisfaction over the gradual improvement in the law and order situation in tribal areas and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The committee meeting was held at the Governor’s House. Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmed Butt and the heads of law-enforcement as well as other concerned agencies attended the meeting. The law and order situation and pace of progress on developmental projects in the province and Fata were reviewed at the meeting. The meeting appreciated the successful initiatives for border fencing and management as the follow-up action of various successful operations being carried out.
