CADD notifies PIMS, Polyclinic heads

Islamabad: The Capital Administration and Development Division has notified the appointments of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences joint executive director Dr Raja Amjad
Mahmood and Federal Government Polyclinic Executive Director Dr Shahid Hanif executive director as the permanent heads of their respective hospitals.
The development comes a day before the expiry of the Supreme Court's deadline for the filling of the two offices on permanent basis. The appointments have been made in line with Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973, with an immediate effect, said a notification issued by the CADD. Dr Amjad's appointment is subject to the Supreme Court's verdict on a pending case. Both the BPS-20 officials earlier held the ED offices of their respective hospitals on the acting charge basis.
