SBP bowlers keep ZTBL in check

ISLAMABAD: State Bank’s bowlers Umaid Asif (3-38) and Nazar Hussain (2-9) left ZTBL struggling on the opening day of the Patron’s Trophy Grade II semi-finals here at the Diamond Ground Tuesday.

On a day when only 46 overs were bowled, ZTBL reached 143-7 with Saad Nasim (48 not out) being the only batsman trying to fight it out. He struck six fours in his 42-ball unbeaten knock.Saad took the crease when ZTBL were reeling at 49-5. Together with Usman Ashraf (29) he took the score to 112.

Pacers Umaid and Nazar exploited the damp conditions at Diamond Ground.
