ICCI urges govt to develop Super Market

Islamabad: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) Senior Vice President Muhammad Naveed Malik said that Super Market was an important business centre of the federal capital as diplomats, foreign nationals and other high profile dignitaries frequently visit this market for shopping. He called upon the CDA to focus on better development of Super Market so that traders could be facilitated in promoting business activities. He said this while talking to Muhammad Hussain, Secretary General, Traders Welfare Association, Super Market who visited ICCI to highlight key issues of the traders of his market.

Muhammad Naveed Malik said that CDA should resolve major problems of Super Market including provision of filtration plant, restoration of all street lights and redesigning of car parking for expansion as well as its re-carpeting to facilitate the visitors. He assured the Secretary General of TWA Super Market that ICCI would fully cooperate with his Association in its endeavors aimed at resolving the issues of traders of his market.

Muhammad Hussain, general secretary, Traders Welfare Association, Super Market, Islamabad said that there was no filtration plant in the market due to which the traders and residents of the area were deprived of clean drinking water. He said current car parking has become insufficient and urged that CDA should redesign the parking to expand it and arrange its re-carpeting. He said CDA should restore all street lights in Super Market to curb the incidents of thefts and other problems.
