‘PTI posters, flags removed in Nawabshah’
NAWABSHAH: PTI district president Abdul Majeed Magsi said that posters and flags of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) were removed with the police help following the successful show of Imran Khan in Nawabshah, which could not be digested by the PPP.
He expressed these views while addressing a press conference at the Nawabshah Press Club. During the press conference, he was accompanied by the members of PTI’s Lawyers Forum. Mr Magsi said that in Nawabshah, the PPP was divided in groups and as a result its workers were shattered. He said that Asif Ali Zardari claimed he would not let the PML-N bring its chief minister in Punjab but the PTI challenges him it would not let the PPP bring its chief minister in Sindh after the general elections.
He said that PPP’s fear had vanished from the hearts of general public and it was the sole reason that the PPP leaders are not permitting all the workers to meet Asif Ali Zardari, adding that even visitors are not allowed to raise any question before him. Magsi said that the accountability days of the PPP were fast approaching fast.
Addressing the press conference, PTI Lawyers Forum President Mukhtar Rind said that the elections of the District Bar Association were not held for several years and the PPP-backed lawyers had occupied the office-bearers’ seats.
He said that a written complaint had been lodged with the Secretary, Sindh Bar Council, stating that illegal house has occupied the institution, struggling for the rule of law. Abdul Samad Mallah, Advocate, President PTI Youth Wing Babar Chandio, Imam Din Keerio and others were also present on the occasion.
