Zunair wins Huawei-EZY Technologies Golf title

KARACHI: Zunair Hasan Khan edged his rival Abdullah Nasir by one stroke to win the Huawei & EZY Technologies Golf Tournament held here at the picturesque Defence Authority Country and Golf Club.

The big-hitting Zunair carded a superb round of one-over par 73 to win the gross title of the 18-hole tournament. Abdullah was runner-up gross with a score of 74. Tahir Zulfiqar (68) and Ali Nadeem (68) reigned supreme in the net category.

Other prize winners included Ramiz Ahmed Fraz, M. Javed Wadood, Fahd Ishtiaq, Mohib Hasan Khan, Mrs Nida Haq, Mrs Maha Adnan, Naveed Abbasi and Naazer Minhaj.Dozens of golfers enjoyed the excellent tournament orchestrated by Brisk Events despite the warm weather.

Wang Yu CEO, China Power Hub Generation Company, was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony of the tournament. Also present at the occasion were Huawei’s Dy. CEO Wei Wang and EZY Technologies CEO Saeed Sheikh.
