No religion allows violence against minorities but what happened in Lahore after the church attacks is alarming. Two men suspected of their links with militants were beaten to death by protesters and later their bodies were set on fire. If the brutal murder of a Christian couple in Kot Radha Kishan last year is condemnable then Sunday’s killings of two men is also condemnable.
The fact whether these men belonged to some militant groups or were innocent has yet to be established. If the suspects were really involved in the attacks then they deserved the severest punishment that should have been carried out ensuring due process. Those who murdered the two men should be brought to justice.
