PPP observes death anniversary of ZA Bhutto
RAWALPINDI: The local leadership of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has observed 39th death anniversary of former prime minister and founder of (PPP) Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto at Jinnah Park (Old Jail) here on Wednesday (April 4).
A large number of PPP supporters including District Bar Association (DBA), Rawalpindi lawyers participated in 39th death anniversary of Bhutto on the occasion. The ‘Jialas’ included male, female and youth carried party flags, placards and banners and raised slogans of ‘Jye Bhutto.’
The local leadership of PPP arranged ‘Langer’ and provided milk and sharbat ‘sabeels.’ Quran Khawani started at around 11:15 am in which a large number of women participated. After Quran Khawani PPP supporters offered ‘Dua’ for the departed soul of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
President PPP city chapter Baber Khan Jadoon, Farooq Paracha, Divisional Vice President of PPP, Rawalpindi Haji Gulzar, Israr Abbasi and several others PPP Punjab and local leadership highlighted the achievements of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto who struggled for the democracy in the country and sacrificed his life for the people of Pakistan. A heavy contingent of police and special branch officials were present all around Jinnah Park, Rawalpindi.
