Another feather in Tehzeeb Foundation’s cap

The premier music project of the Tehzeeb Foundation —Indus Raag, Gold Edition — has won a World Music Album (Special Edition) Award at the 16th Independent Music Awards announced in New York on March 31, 2018.
The award winners were decided by a panel of judges comprising international music experts. The Indus Raag project also won a gold medal and two silver medals at the Global Music Awards (USA) and was declared one of the top ten albums in 2016.
The Tehzeeb Foundation is the brainchild of the husband-wife team of Sharif and Malahat Awan and aims at preserving the rich cultural and musical heritage of Pakistan. They have rendered real yeoman’s service to the cause.
