New delimitation protested
CHAKDARRA: The residents and leaders of various political parties on Tuesday took out protest rally against the inclusion of Union Council Ouch into Timergara, and blocked Dir-Chitral road to traffic for two hours. Led by Member Provincial Assembly Bakht Baidar Khan, former federal minister, Malak Azmat Khan, Tehsil Nazim Malik Jehanzeb Khan, Qamar Zaman, Shahid Khan and others, the protesters walked through various areas and gathered at Dir-Chitral road where they blocked it to traffic for two hours. They said that inclusion of UC Ouch was an injustice and anti-people move. A protest campaign against it would be launched, they added. "It is against the rules of Election Commission and would create issues for the people of the area," Bakht Baidar Khan, said, adding that UC Ouch was recognition of Adenzai tehsil and people of the area would never accept it.
