Man found dead in employer’s house

LAHORE: A 70-year-old servant was found dead in the house of his employer in PCSIR Society Tuesday. The victim was identified as Muhammad Nazeer. Police suspected that the old man had been murdered by striking on his neck. Police shifted the body to morgue.

Traffic: Traffic education team set up a traffic awareness camp at China Chowk, Lawrence Road, Tuesday. The camp was set up with the coordination of an automobile company to create awareness among masses about traffic rules and laws. The Education Unit distributed traffic awareness pamphlets regarding measures to discourage wheelie-doing and juvenile driving.

off-loaded: FIA Immigration officials Tuesday off-loaded a passenger who wanted to travel to Iran as his name was in the Black List category. According to FIA officials, the passenger was identified as Muhammad Rizwan of Gakhar Mandi, Gujranwala. He was handed over to Anti-Human Trafficking Cell of the FIA Lahore.

accidents: A total 922 road traffic accidents were reported in Provincial Monitoring Cell of the Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) in all 37 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours; in which seven lives were lost and 646 serious injured were shifted to different hospitals of relevant districts and tehsils.
