PESHAWAR: The employees of Pakistan Institute of Prostatic and Osteopathic Sciences on Monday staged a demonstration outside Peshawar Press Club, demanding the government to regularise their services.
Led by Atif Bangash, the protestors carrying banners and placards chanted slogans against what they termed corrupt administration and in favour of their demands. The speakers observed that the employees from Class-IV to assistant directors had been performing duties for the last 12 years but they had not been regularised to date. They said the employees had apprised MD of the department of the issue but nothing was done which had created unrest among the employees.
