PU inks accord with HongKong university
LAHORE: Punjab University (PU) and Education University of Hong Kong Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote academic collaboration.
According to the MoU, both the universities will launch research activities and exchange faculty members, research personnel, students and staff. Both the universities will also exchange academic and other publication and organise conferences, seminars and meetings.
Education University of Hong Kong Vice-President Prof Dr Tai-Lok Lui, PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Zakria Zakar, Faculty of Education Dean Prof Dr Mumtaz Akhter, Prof Dr Rafaqat Ali Akbar, External Linkages Director Dr Fouzia Hadi Ali and others attended the signing ceremony. Dr Zakria said it was need of the hour to promote linkages among the academic institutions of the two countries and enhance people-to-people contacts.
