LAHORE: A 35-year-old woman died in her home under mysterious circumstances in the Hadiyara police limits on Monday.
The victim has been identified as Farzana, wife of Iftikhar Ahmad. Police said the victim bore marks of injuries on her head. Police official said the incident is suspicious as the victim had received injuries on her head. Investigations would reveal whether she had received injuries accidentally or she was intentionally killed. Police have removed the body to morgue.
FOUND DEAD: A 30-year-old rickshaw driver was killed by unidentified suspects in the Manawan police limits on Monday.The victim has been identified as Salman, a resident of Adda Chabbel. The victim was staying with his sister. He worked as a rickshaw driver and was also drug-addict. His friends used to come to his home. On the day of the incident, the victim’s family found him in a pool of blood. They informed police which reached the scene and collected forensic evidences. Police said the murder seemed one day old as the blood was frozen at the crime scene. Police removed the body to morgue.
OPERATION: Joint search operation has been conducted under the supervision of SDPO Lower Mall Wasim Dar and SHO Data Darbar Rana Akhtar Ali in the Bilal Ganj area, Jamil hostel and its surroundings.A total 85 persons have been checked by DSR, CTD, Pak Rangers, Ladies Pak Rangers, Military Intelligence and Police Personnel through SVAS, sniffing dog, android sets, metal detector and search light.
