Ahad Cheema suspended

LAHORE: The Punjab government has suspended Quaid-e-Azam Thermal Power Company CEO Ahad Khan Cheema for three months since his date of arrest by the NAB. The S&GAD issued a notification in this regard on Friday. Cheema also served as the LDA DG when the Ashiana Housing scam surfaced. His wife, Saima Ahad, was deputy commissioner Okara and is currently posted at the health department, is also facing a NAB probe into assets beyond means.
