Church leaders and human rights organisations have expressed concern over the alleged inhuman treatment carried out by FIA in Lahore, against accused Patras Masih and Sajid Masih.
They requested the prime minister to consider establishing credible and independent Joint Investigation Team to give Partas Masih and Sajid Masih a fair investigation and its report be made public within two weeks. They demanded withdrawal of FIR against Sajid Masih for attempted suicide and hold FIA personnel involved to account for misusing their power against Patras and Sajid.
They also demanded constitution of an implementation committee for compliance with the Supreme Court orders to federal and provincial government given on 19 June, 2014.
