Line depts ordered to complete work on media colony
MARDAN: District Nazim Himayatullah Mayar directed the departments concerned to immediately complete the development work at Ameer Mohammad Khan Media Colony.
He was chairing a meeting on the colony.The district nazim directed the Revenue Department officials to transfer the land in the name of the allottees. Assistant Commissioner Babar Tanoli, Tehsildar Adnan Khan, Assistant Director of Mardan Development Authority Imtiaz Khan, President of Mardan Press Club Lutfullah and General Secretary Mohammad Riaz Mayar attended the meeting.
Himayatullah Mayar told the meeting that in 2014 the then provincial government released Rs17,01,528 to the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) for electricity supply to the colony but Pesco authorities had yet to do so. He directed the Pesco officials to immediately complete the external electrification works in the media colony.
