Scattered rain forecast
LAHORE: Dry weather continued to prevail in the City on Sunday while Met Office predicted partly cloudy weather with chances of scattered rain for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said dry continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country. A fresh westerly wave is likely to enter the western parts of the country from Monday. They predicted partly cloudy weather in most upper and western parts of the country. Light rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat and Rawalpindi divisions and upper FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, they added.
No rain was recorded anywhere across the country. Sunday’s lowest temperature was recorded at Skardu where the mercury dropped to -01°C. In Lahore, maximum temperature reached 29°C, minimum temperature was 14.8°C and humidity level was 30 percent.
