Due to various cultural and financial restraints, a large number of girls cannot obtain a quality education. Even in the fast-paced 21st century, there are so many families that do not allow their daughters to pursue studies. This problem needs immediate attention of the authorities concerned. It is unfortunate that no government has paid attention to this issue.
While development projects are welcomed, the higher authorities must realise that they need to put extra efforts to uplift the education sector which is on the decline. Barring a large number of women from getting education will poorly reflect on our country’s progress. It is time we took initiatives to promote women’s education in our country. Without women’s education, it will be difficult for us to overcome that challenges that we face.
