Tayyab moves into Malaysian Tour No6 quarters

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Tayyab Aslam moved into the quarter-finals of the $10,000 Malaysian Tour No6 at Bukit Jalil National Squash Centre, Kuala Lumpur, on Tuesday. Tayyab stunned fourth seed Syafiq Kamal of Malaysia 11-9, 11-8, 11-8 in 55 minutes. He will face Abdullah Al Mezayen in the last-eight stage. However, Asim Khan lost to second seed Rex Hedrick of Australia 1-11, 2-9 in the first round.
