UCP victorious in Inter-Varsity Volleyball opener

PESHAWAR: University of Central Punjab (UCP) Lahore recorded opening day’s victory against Agha Khan University Karachi in the All-Pakistan Inter-University Men’s Volleyball Championship which got under way here at PSB Coaching Center on Wednesday.
Vice Chancellor Sarhad University of Information Technology Peshawar Professor Dr Salim-Ur-Rehman was the chief guest on this occasion and formally inaugurated the event.
In the opening match Agha Khan University failed to click in front of strong University of Central Punjab in the marathon three-set battle, the score was 25-22, 25-20 and 25-23.University of Central Punjab did not give much time to Agha Khan University tocome back and thus marched into victory.
