In the end participants visited Nullah Leh and inspected the work of dredging and desilting at Dhoke Naju and Phagwari Bridge and showed their satisfaction.
Wasa Managing Director Raja Shaukat Mahmood speaking on the occasion appealed to the residents living along the Nuallah Leh to avoid throwing and dumping solid waste into Nullah Leh because this creates hindrances in the flow of water in the Nullah that results in flooding during monsoon season.
However, he made it clear that strict action will be taken against those who are involved this illegal activity. In this regard Wasa has also displayed awareness banners and distributed pamphlets.
