NAROWAL: A man hurled a shoe at Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal during a PML-N workers’ convention in Narowal on Saturday.
Bilal Haris stood up from his seat as Ahsan arrived on stage to address the convention in the Aliabad area, which reportedly touched the minister. However, the party workers grabbed the man who was handed over to police.
After the incident, Ahsan left the stage, but directed the police not to take legal action against the man, officials said. Bilal was subsequently released by the law enforcers.
