Ministries asked about implementation of Urdu

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Engineer Muhammad Balighur Rehman on Thursday asked all the federal ministers and in-charge of divisions to formally inform him about the progress on immediate yet effective implementation of Urdu as official language in their respective ministries by March 20.
The directions have been issued by the minister as the chairman of the Federal Cabinet Committee on Implementation of Urdu as the official language through separate letters. In light of the prime minister’s order on July 6, 2015, all the federal ministries and divisions were earlier informed about the mid-term and long-term steps to be taken for implementation of Urdu as the official language.
