Lashing out at ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif, he said that the one caught in Panama Papers case was now seeking foreign assistance. “These are the people who are damaging country’s reputation to safe themselves,” he added. PTI chief said that Nawaz Sharif met Indian PM Nerendra Modi during his tenure, which no one knew.

PTI chief said, “The nation is waiting for Zafarul Haq report. On October 6, National Assembly (NA) unanimously approved oath related to Khatm-i-Nabuwwat in its original form after Speaker Ayaz Sadiq ordered to rectify clerical mistake. In the form-A, the words, “I solemnly swear” were replaced with “I believe” and the clause relating to Khatm-i-Nabuwwat is not made applicable to non-Muslim candidates. Former Law Minister Zahid Hamid said the declaration contained in the nomination papers had been restored in its original form through the amendment to the Act.

He clarified that nobody could think of impacting in any manner the provision regarding the finality of prophethood of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). He also denied allegation pertaining to deliberately amending the oath. The disgruntled PML-N leaders submitted their resignations to custodian of Dargah Sial Sharif, Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi. At least two MNAs, three MPAs, local government representatives and party officials tendered their resignation in the conference.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf had declared that the year 2018 would be called Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Year. He said that the Quran and Hadith are the only way of guidance for the Muslim Ummah and the Muslims can fulfill their responsibilities by following guidelines of these two sources.
