Lahorites deprived of basic facilities: PTI

LAHORE: PTI Central Punjab president Abdul Aleem Khan has criticised the government’s policies and said tall claims by the rulers have been exposed and there is no governance anywhere.

Addressing the PTI’s workers convention on Tuesday, Aleem Khan said the people of Lahore are deprived of basic facilities. He said in the name of development commission mafia is active and billions of rupees have been wasted over publicity.

Aleem Khan called upon the party workers to actively participate in the mass contact campaign and spread the message of Imran Khan to every house. He said year of 2018 would bring countrywide change and masses would get rid of Sharif Family’s 25 years rule in centre and province.

He claimed that now Imran Khan would be the prime minister who would make Pakistan real prosperous and progressive country where every citizen would be having basic facilities on doorsteps.

Addressing the convention, MPA and Central Vice President PTI Shoaib Siddiqi said PTI has worked at grass-root level and especially in NA 122 and PP 147 there is close contact of Abdul Aleem Khan with the people who join them in every moment. He said now Sardar Ayaz Sadiq would also have to go and people would give their mandate to PTI.

Local leaders Zulqarnain Zaki, Lala Rafique, Mobeen Kamboh, Malik Javed Yousaf, Nasir Siddiquee, Hafiz Rizwan, Saleem Shabrati, Rizwan Yousaf, Hafiz Amer Moghal and Mohammad Ali attended the convention with hundreds of workers.

The party workers chanted slogans in favour of Imran Khan and Abdul Aleem Khan and gave warm welcome to their leaders. Women in large number also attended the convention while youths showered flowers and congratulated each other over marriage of Imran Khan.

Passenger arrested: FIA immigration officials arrested a passenger when he landed at Lahore airport on alleged fake travel documents on Tuesday. According to FIA officials, the accused was identified as Abdul Razzaq of Sahiwal. He arrived at Lahore airport on a flight PK-726 from Riyadh. The passenger was arrested when his travel documents were proved fake including his EP.

During interrogation, Razzaq confessed that a passport, ST189250, was obtained from Saudi Arabia which turned out to be fake. The accused has been handed over to Anti Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) of FIA.
