Quake-hit school awaits reconstruction

MANSEHRA: The reconstruction of the 2005 earthquake-hit Government Primary School in Pandair village couldn’t be initiated despite funds availability.“The government sanctioned Rs15 million for reconstruction of the school three years back. The reconstruction work has not been started yet,” Ghulam Mustafa, councillor of village council Ganilla in Balakot told reporters on Monday.He was also flanked by chairman of Parents Teachers Council Sabir Hussain. Ghulam Mustafa said that tendering process for reconstruction of the school completed but work on it couldn’t be started.
