LHC moved for public hanging of Zainab killer

LAHORE: A petition was filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking public hanging of Imran Ali, the convicted killer of minor Zainab in Kasur. The petition has been filed by advocate Ishtiaq Chaudhry, taking the plea that there is no need for making any amendment to the law for publicly hanging of Imran. The Punjab government could execute Imran publicly under Section 22. The culprit be hanged at the same venue from where body of Zainab was found, he prayed. He requested the court to issue orders to the Punjab government to implement Section 22.
