LAHORE: Lord Mayor Mubashir Javid and Deputy Commissioner Sumair Ahmed Syed have jointly inaugurated the second round of health camps which would continue from Feb 19 to 24.
During one week, special screening tests of hepatitis, TB, blood pressure, sugar and others would be conducted through these camps which have been set up in all tehsil headquarters, BHUs, RHCs and other health facilities of the metropolitan city.
At the inaugural ceremony, officers and officials of Health Department, including Health CEO, accompanied the mayor and DC. Mubashir Javid and the DC while talking to the media said the target of conducting tests of one lakh people would be achieved and they termed the health camps an outstanding step as per the vision of Punjab chief minister.
“Citizens should take benefit from these camps and must have their screening from these camps”, they appealed the citizens. Sumair Ahmed directed ACs to monitor the camps in a proper manner.
