Minister takes notice of acid attack

LAHORE: Punjab Minister Khalil Tahir has taken notice of acid throwing on a woman, Iram, in Kasur by allegedly her in-laws. The minister sought a report from Kasur DPO and directed the police to register a case against the culprits and arrest them.
In-laws of 27-year-old Iram threw acid on her due to which her 80pc body was badly affected and she was shifted to Jinnah Hospital, Lahore in critical condition. Her parents alleged that they informed the police but no action was taken. The minister assured the victim’s family that best medical facilities and justice would be provided to Iram.
