People to teach Nawaz’s opponents lesson in polls: Sana

LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said if the electoral losers succeed in getting their wishes granted through the Supreme Court, the sea of support resonating with Nawaz’s narrative for the sanctity of vote and parliament would teach them a lesson in the upcoming elections.

Nawaz Sharif staying the party head or not would not dampen the spirits of the party workers and leaders at all. Those who cannot defeat and oust Nawaz through ballot are using the Supreme Court to fulfil their wishes.

About Imran Khan’s third wedding, he said marriage is a sacred relationship and a religious responsibility and one is incomplete without marriage. However, if the marriage is the culmination of a love affair between a 66-year-old twice divorced guy and a 50-year-old divorced woman, then masses have nothing to offer but scorn and curse for such a shameful matrimony.

He said the ‘Pirs’ in Pakistan already did not enjoy a good reputation in Pakistan, but ‘Pinki Pir’ had pushed that phenomenon off the deep end. Rana Sanaullah doubted that like the marriage with Reham, this new adventure of the PTI chief would be short lived as well.

He expressed his disappointment in a sarcastic way over his speculation that Imran would never invite him to his valima. The law minister added that getting married and divorce is such a constant phenomenon at Banigala that Imran had hired a full-time personal ‘mufti’ for the job, in the form of Mufti Saeed.

Rana Sanaullah went deeper down Imran’s marriage lane and offered that he would book hotel room and pay for Imran’s honeymoon trip, if Imran like so.
