Pir Sialvi admitted to hospital

FAISALABAD: Pir Hamiduddin Sialvi was admitted to the Civil Hospital, Sargodha, after his health deteriorated on Sunday. Sialvi was travelling to Aminpur Bangla to attend a conference when his health deteriorated.

809 criminals held in February: Police have arrested 809 criminals from the district during the current month of February. According to the police spokesman Amir Waheed, the arrested included 280 proclaimed offenders, 202 drug traffickers, 155 gamblers, 123 illicit weapon holders, 34 target offenders and 15 court absconders. The police also recovered Rs 208,225, 99 pistols, 15 guns, six rifles, two revolvers, a carbine, a number of rounds/cartridges, 50.103kg charas and 2,799 litres liquor from them, he added.
