Showers forecast in 24 hours
Islamabad: The sun may have begun shinning brightly in the daytime these days, prompting people not to use woollies during the time between sunrise and sunset. However, if you think that the winter season is over, you’re mistaken, at least for now as per the forecast of the Pakistan Meteorological Department for the next few days. It says many parts of the country, including Islamabad and Rawalpindi, will receive showers first in the next 24 hours and then over the weekend. Also, there is a likelihood of snow falling over the hills during the period. Currently, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. However, a rain-causing shallow westerly wave is likely to affect western parts on Tuesday. Most parts of the country have cold and dry weather with slightly warm daytime and pleasantly chilly nights.
