KARACHI: The body of an unidentified man, who appeared to be in his 30s, was found in Gulzar-e-Hijri Block-III on Saturday.
Police attended the scene and moved the body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post-mortem, said Mobina Town police SHO Hashim Billo.
A medico-legal examiner said in his report that the deceased was attacked with a sharp object on his head and was also subjected to brutal torture, the SHO said.
He said the police was called in by area residents who spotted the body while returning home from a mosque after offering Fajr prayers.
