ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal as being President National Commission for Enforced Disappearance recovered more than 2,800 missing persons and ensured their safe return to homes.
Justice (R) Javed Iqbal as president of the Commission is performing his responsibilities in National Commission for Enforced Disappearances seven days a week even on closed holidays of Saturday and Sundays without receiving any remuneration and salary. He meets the families of missing persons and is trying his utmost for recovery of missing persons. The relatives of missing persons acknowledged meritorious services of Justice Javed Iqbal and prayed for him from the core of their heart.
Owing to the performance of National Commission for Enforced Disappearances, as per sources, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has also sent some cases of missing persons for their recovery and serious efforts are underway to recover them. Justice (R) Javed Iqbal is not using government resources and is pursuing the mission of recovering missing persons mostly by using his own resources.
