BISHAM: Awami National Party (ANP) leader Sadeedur Rehman on Saturday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led provincial government had failed to implement its reform agenda.

Speaking at a public gathering here, he alleged the government didn’t undertake uplift projects in the far-flung areas.

He said the PTI leaders had made tall claims about bringing reforms, but the people had felt no change. The ANP leader said that the ruling elite would face a crushing defeat in the 2018 general election as the rulers had failed to deliver on the election pledges. Several activists of PPP and PML-N announced joining the ANP on the occasion.

Gul Zahir, Ajab Khan, Sharif Khan, Karimullah and others also addressed the gathering.

He added that four years back Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Amir Muqam inaugurated work on 132 KV gridstation in Basham, but the project was still incomplete. Sadeedur Rehman claimed that previous ANP-led coalition government carried out many projects in the education sector. He believed that his party would win the upcoming general election.
