Our society is sharply divided into multiple segments with each segment supporting one political party. At the time of elections, each segment votes for a representative of a particular party. Many people do not appreciate listening about the ideology of another party. We should break free from this rigid mindset. Politicians should be chosen on the basis of what they have done to uplift the suffering of ordinary people.
Nothing good will come out of voting for a party if the latter has no connection with citizens. We should see to what extent a party has contributed to the welfare and betterment of people. A proper analysis should be carried out before casting a vote. The trend of voting for favourites who are driven by the lust of power should be discouraged.
