LAHORE: Punjab University (PU) won two gold medals on the second day of Inter-University Women Cycling Championship on Thursday. On the second day two events were contested when PU remained on the top while Bahauddin Zakria University (BZU) and Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) won silver medals.
Thursday’s results: 3km team pursuit: PU (Razia, Naila, Asia, Mehroz) 1st, BZU (Sheeza, Sumara, Mehwish, Kashifa) 2nd,Sargodha (Sumara, Zainab, Faiza, Adan) 3rd. Elimination race: Razia Hanif, PU, 1st, Sadaf, LCWU, 2nd, Zainab, Sargodha, 3rd. On Friday three road races will held at DHA Phase-VIII which includes individual road time trial, team time trial and road scratch race.
