ISLAMABAD: Champion team of inaugural Pakistan Super League (PSL) Islamabad United spent a busy day in the capital on Wednesday.
The team — led by former Pakistan Test captain Misbahul Haq and including the likes of Shadab Khan and Saeed Ajmal — first took part in a tree plantation drive in coordination with Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF) at the Fatimah Jinnah Park and then travelled to COMSATS in Chak Shahzad where the players were welcomed by students.
Meanwhile, an exhibition match between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators will be played at the Pindi Stadium Thursday evening.The game is expected to be a sell out as tickets for the match and show are unavailable from the TCS outlets.
