No forward bloc in PTI: Khattak

NOWSHERA: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has rejected the rumours of dissidents’ group or forward bloc in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

He was addressing as chief guest at the parliamentary meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Youth Assembly at District Council Hall here. Besides MNA Dr. Imran Khattak, District Nazim Nowshera Liaqat Khattak, other LG representatives and members of the youth assembly attended in large number.

The chief minister said that difference of opinion was a trait of democracy and should not be termed as mutiny.

He said that the PTI leadership believed in democracy and respect the opinion of the party workers. The opponents were spreading such rumours due to the party rising popularity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he added.

The chief minister maintained that there was no division between the leadership and members of parliament, claiming that all members were united under the leadership of Imran Khan. Pervez Khattak said that final decision regarding the distribution of tickets would be taken by the parliamentary board and Imran Khan. He said that his party’s member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly were busy in preparations for Senate election.

He said that tickets distribution’s decision would be taken on the stipulated time.

He said that his government had extended cooperation in the establishment of youth assembly. He asked the youth to work hard to steer the country out of the difficult situation.

The chief minister said that 60 percent population of the province was below 30 years of age and termed it an asset.

Pervez Khattak emphasised the youth to work hard to combat the challenges of the time in most successful manner.

“Our youth must pinpoint the flaws existed in the system and voice for resolving it in order to ensure the bright future of the nation,” he said, adding, that the provincial government was exploiting all its resources and energies to ensure speedy process of development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
